Going to future digunakan untuk membicarakan rencana di masa depan atau prediksi berdasarkan situasi saat ini. Tense ini dibentuk dengan menggunakan verb “to be” diikuti going to + verb dasar.
Struktur ini cukup konsisten karena kata kerja utama selalu menggunakan bentuk dasar (infinitive tanpa “to”).
