Dalam Simple Past, pertanyaan biasanya dibuat dengan auxiliary verb “did”. Setelah did, kata kerja kembali ke bentuk dasar (verb 1).
Namun ada pengecualian untuk verb to be (was / were) yang tidak menggunakan “did”.
